They do, however, have a forensics team, and at my old school the two were pretty closely related.
Does anyone know if it would be reasonable to approach the forensics coach for help registering for tournaments, ect. (just district ones, and I could self coach as well as possible) Does it work that way? Would I have to start a formal team instead? Can anyone help?? Debate is my main extra curricular for colleges and they don’t have it!!

I am medicine student , today I received email from one person that “can use telepathy”.
Is it possible that telepathy works on the distance of few kilometer, correct and all the time?
I can not find any official document on any existing person today that can use telepathy
but I found Vinko Rajic and Uri Geller and they are talking that they can use telepathy.
Why they do not make research on it? Many Schizophrenic are coming with similar story.
Can it be that some Schizophrenics are just receiving from some other head?
James Randi offer 1000000$ for evidence, but Vinko and Uri can use telepathy or maybe NOT?

There is not scientific evidence for telepathy. Why this telepathy madness?
At Edinburgh University, experts conducted controlled experiments to see if telepathy is possible.
Vinko maybe can give evidence for it but why they do not make an experiment with Vinko or Uri Geller?

Why are Schneider’s symptoms of the first rank for Schizophrenia exact the same as Vinko’s telepathy?
Is CIA’s remove viewing project just a bluff because telepath’s like Vinko can never find out who actually
is sending to them , also receiver or sender can never localize each other.

I think it is in interests of science and human kind to make some really research on Vinko and Uri.

I’ll be honest, I like playing devil’s advocate and the debating part of politics is entertaining. But I get the feeling that some people on here seem to almost consider themselves prophets by the way they speak with unyielding certainty.

So my question is this: are you on here for the sake of debate or do you have an agenda, something you are trying to prove? I’m not judging, I was just curious. Thanks!

FOR SOME Reason UNBEKNOWNST TO ME, my Ethnic Reports course made a decision that they wished to base our in-class discussion on abortion. I am on the staff that will be FOR abortions, Professional-alternative. Can anyone propose some subjects to investigation on to construct our argument? Internet sites with other data/links would also be greatly appreciated. Thank you!

P.S. Just to be obvious, we didn’t have a choice of which team we ended up on.

Best response:

Solution by STEVEN F
Abortion is a False concern. The True situation is “When does everyday living begin?” If lifestyle begins at conception, abortion is the premeditated termination of an innocent human existence. That is also the definition of murder. If lifestyle starts at birth, abortion is cosmetic surgery. If existence starts at ANY other level, I DEFY you to objectively establish that stage.

and i start blushing sometimes too
haha
i guess its best to just practice speaking in front of fairly large audiences whether its at home or with friends even…
I guess try not to look directly in the audience members eyes or something..or think your just on you own..but i guess thats easier said than done.
Dont not join though..its good to keep trying and doing your best..especially if you have really good points and stuff for your debate…

Without mowing the lawn, a beautifully manicured yard can easily turn into an overgrown forest. Ignoring the proper techniques according to the type of grass you possess can also lead to damaging problems that are be rather difficult to hide. As you approach the task of lawn mowing, there are a couple of factors to consider, which can either make or break the appearance of your grass and overall presentation of the yard.

Debating Height

As a rule of thumb, grass generally responds best when selecting one of the higher lawnmower settings, especially during a heat-filled summer day. If the blade is set too low, scalping is often the result, which is highly undesirable. When the blade is set too low, a gouging of the soil may occur, which pulls up the grass and in particular, turf that is dry and straw-colored.

If you find yourself falling behind the growth of your lawn, you may mow the grass at a higher length, and then lower the blade for a mowing that takes place after a couple of days have passed. A common rule is that you should never cut off more than 1/3 of the length of grass in a single mowing.

Recommended Mowing Heights

Your location by region usually determines the type of grass in your yard, which is based upon selections better suited for various climates and temperature levels. Below you will find a few recommendations based on minimum and maximum heights for an assortment of common grass types: Fine Fescue (1″; 2″); Tall Fescue (2″; 3″); Kentucky Blue grass (1″; 2″); Rye grass (1″; 2″); Bahia grass (2″; 4″); Bermuda grass (1″; 2″); Buffalo grass (2″; 3″); Carpet grass (2″; 3″); Centipede grass (1″; 1″); St. Augustine grass/Floratam (2″; 4″); and Zoysia grass (“; 2″).

Mowing Frequency

Typically, individuals should mow their lawn once per week. Sometimes, seasonal and weather changes may also affect the frequency of mowing. For example, grass tends to grow at a more rapid pace during the springtime. This means mowing the grass twice a week may become necessary in order to avoid having to remove more than 1/3 of the length.

Blade Sharpness

Keeping the mower blade sharp will produce the best results when it comes to keeping a yard looking fresh and clean. When the blades of a mower become dull, grass blade ends are torn in such a way that a raggedy appearance is the result. These jagged ends usually turn brown, causing the grass to look dried-out. This type of blade damage also promotes the spread of fungus and disease.

Additional Lawn Mowing Tips

Before mowing your lawn, there are additional tips that may increase the prosperity of a lawn. For instance, mowing in different directions helps to prevent the look of leaning grass blades. Try diagonal, horizontal, and vertical patterns. When mowing, you should avoid making sharp turns. Also, it is important to never mow a lawn that is wet as it only invites fungus to attack.

Want to keep up with all the latest information on what’s happening in the football world? Then you should consider subscribing to one of the quality websites that focus on this area of sport.

The internet has made life easier for most of us and helps us keep up to date with the current events going on in sports.

This week, I want to idolize British Prime Minister, Tony Blair, because of remarks he made last week on genetically modified foods.

Addressing a group of scientists last week, Mr. Blair suggested that opponents of genetically modified foods arent rational when debating this issue.

“Government must show leadership and courage in standing up for science and rejecting an irrational public debate around it [GM food],” said Mr. Blair, referring to those who have distorted facts to oppose developments such as GM foods.

Mr. Blair, expectedly, did receive flaks for these remarks. Some challenged him to state if he was openly criticizing Prince Charles, who has openly opposed genetically modified foods [I must, hereby, mention that Prince Charles is wrong to use the privileges of the British throne to make statements that cant be scientifically substantiated about genetically modified foods].

Others insinuated that it was payback time to multinational biotechnology companies, for millions of dollars donated to the Labor Party.

I found this quite amusing because of instead of addressing real issues, Mr. Blairs critics decided to dwell on side issues. This, needless to say, has been the hallmark of the debate about genetically modified foods.

Opponents of genetically modified foods dare not attack the science behind genetically modified food because they have no case to make against it. Instead, they go for fringe issues with the aim of confusing the public.

Mr. Blair is right in urging the public to discuss technological innovations in a more scientifically literate fashion. Those who genuinely care about food safety should support and not criticize him. Mr. Blair evidently means well for the world.

How else can the world determine the safety of genetically modified foods other than subjecting them to thorough laboratory investigations? This is the premise of Mr. Blairs argument.

Genetically modified foods have been subjected to rigorous examination by various scientific bodies. The British Royal Society of Science has produced numerous reports showing that genetically modified foods can be beneficial to humans and the environment.

Various United Nations Agencies, notably the World Health Organization (WHO) and Food and Agriculture Organization (FAO) have also published similar reports.

Perhaps Mr. Blair should use his political leverage to prevail upon other European countries to change their attitude towards genetically modified foods. Currently, Europe maintains the most draconian and restrictive laws on genetically modified food. These laws arent informed by science, but by populist sentiments
